From its early beginning in 1975 , and incorporation in 1976 by the present owners , Sharmic has steadily grown from a small Midlands based company to a National and then to an International company . Due to increased growth the company moved to larger premises in Stourport-on-Severn in 1986 to facilitate under one roof its warehouse , manufacturing and Engineering facility .
The company has licensee`s for its products globally which allow its products to be manufactured and supplied around the world .
During its lifetime , the company has acquired the assets of many of its competitors , and in doing so have been able to expand their range of equipment and finishing materials and build relationships with their many new customers and suppliers .
The company ' s pride is its passion in providing customers from large multi-national organisations to the home hobbyist , with the most technically innovative machines and the best quality finishing products at the lowest price possible . Thus by collaborating with their local , national and many International partners , they are able to achieve this , and from their extensive stocks of products , they are able to support the many production requirements of their customers .
The company supports its customers with a free technical service and a free analysis of customer ’ s samples , to ensure the best process methods and finishing machines are established from the onset .
Sharmic ’ s goal is to move to more environmentally friendly products , through research and development , and to share the knowledge with others so that there is a safer workplace , to operate surface finishing techniques .
The Company operates an ISO 9001-2015 quality system that insures its products conform to the required specifications , especially in the aerospace and medical industries . From its in house facilities , all products are tested thoroughly before being placed on the market for sale .

Vibratory finishing is a technique to surface improve components manufactured in various materials by combining the machines unique action with associated finishing medias and compounds .

The machine is manufactured in various sizes , and can be fitted with options to suit individual requirements , such as internal separation device , PLC or standard control unit , variable speed , noise cover , compound metering unit , etc .
The machine can be used for batch finishing operations or can be automated to form part of a production line .

On-site finishing services
Sharmic also have a subcontract finishing service to those companies who , for a variety of reasons , wish to outsource the finishing of their components .
This may include companies who do not have the capital to invest in their own finishing system or do not have the physical space or staff to undertake the finishing operation , or that their production levels are such that it is not a viable proposition or that the finish required is special and they require expertise , or require a temporary service whilst a repair or replacement to their machine is being undertaken , or finally that they simply prefer subcontracting as their mode of operation .
