Jacquet Weston Engineering ' s continuous focus and commitment secures largest order in 47 years
Being the only U . K Metal Finishing Plant supplier with ISO 9001-2015 , ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Jacquet Weston Engineering ’ s continuous focus and commitment to both quality and design has led to them recently securing the largest order in their 47- year history . This is also reflected in the continued increase in workload , not only for the supply of large turnkey projects but for the high demand of both spares and servicing . The ongoing business success has led to some major developments with the Company recently announcing the opening of a new Plastics Fabrication Division based in South Wales .
A new 6,500sqft factory has been acquired and furnished with a wide range of plastic fabrication equipment allowing them to manufacture almost any size of component in Polypropylene , PPS , PVC , PVDF , GRP amongst others . The Plastic Fabrication Division sees the appointment of Neil Jones as General Manager and Daniel Taylor as Fabrication Manager . Together they bring a combined 38 years of skills and experience , ensuring the Company continue to provide its customers with service of the highest possible standard . ‘‘ The new division will enable JWE to keep pace with our growing order book and also , importantly , will both enhance and develop our services to customers by adding a new dimension to our capability ’’ says Nick Weston JWE ’ s C . Jacquet Weston has also made another key appointment with the addition of a new Managing Director , Andy Jones . Andy has over 20 years of experience in the metal finishing industry and brings a wealth of both technical and operational knowledge . ‘’ We are thrilled to have Andy in this pivotal role , further strengthening our skills and capabilities ’’ says Nick Weston .
Reflecting on the significance of both announcements Nick Weston adds ‘’ These are both exciting and important steps forward for the Company , allowing us to continue to not only meet but exceed our customers ’ expectations .
