The statistics can be viewed on the screen , for the Standard model the statistics are calculated from the rolling 10 most recently stored records , however , for the Top model , statistics for each batch can be viewed separately .

High and low limits can be set for each of the values measured by the Elcometer 319 , RH , Ta and Ts , and these limits can be switched on and off by the user as required . When a limit is exceeded an audible alarm sounds , a red indicator light flashes , the parameter icon flashes on the display and an alarm symbol is displayed next to the parameter . If the record is being stored in a batch in the Top version then the value that exceeds the limit is marked with an icon to show that the value is above the high limit or below the low limit , as appropriate .
The Dewpoint Meter is supplied with a calibration certificate that records the values for relative humidity , air temperature and surface temperature for both high and low values within the scale range of each parameter .
The Elcometer 319 Digital Dewpoint meter is ideal for determining if it is safe to paint when substrates are cool and relative humidity is high and there is a risk that water vapour is condensing from the air on to the cool surface that is to be painted . The Elcometer 319 can also be used as a data logger for monitoring the climatic conditions regularly over a long period of time , during the cure of a coating .
