Early in the 19th century they founded their first steel wire company , and in the 1930s , business expanded internationally . Initial products for the coating industry were manufactured in the mid-1970s . In 1989 , a new generation succeeded , and since then development has accelerated with further specialisation for the coating industry . New products have been launched , new services have been introduced , and new markets have been discovered .
