Congratulations
to the Class of 2020!
There will never be another
graduating class like the Class
of 2020.
There will never be
another group of seniors that
saw the final stages of their
high school days completely
overhauled. Upheaval and change are some of
the final lessons you will have learned and those
lessons will be important ones that will help
prepare you for life ahead.
And that is important to remember. Your
teachers and coaches have been helping prepare
you for whatever your next destination in life is.
Parents have been teaching those lessons
as well as providing love — tough love when
needed — and support.
Graduation is not the end of your journey.
Rather, it is the beginning of the next phase of
your life-long journey.
Whether that includes college, the armed
services or the workforce, we are proud of all
that you have accomplished and can’t wait to
see what you will still do — and we have no
doubts that great things are on the horizon after
having the chance to briefly meet some of you
for the stories featured inside.
But before that next step begins, celebrate
the milestone that you have already reached.
Enjoy the moment with your classmates
and friends. Embrace the excitement of your
family members. Cherish the memories that you
have made along the way. Relish the cheers and
applause as you receive those diplomas.
It is a special time, even more so for the
Class of 2020 as you can all come back together
even while remaining socially distant, to celebrate
one last time as a group.
No matter where life may lead you, the Suwannee
Valley will always be a part of you.
This is home. And we are proud of you.
Congratulations once again, Class of 2020.
