Sustainable Soul 20 | страница 29

What will be different?

I know I will be different. My conversations will carry more depth, and my interactions will be more purposeful. Everything felt incredibly real this time around, and I refuse to lose that sense of authenticity. I’m committed to living with the intention of a sustainable soul, no more excuses or self-deception.

~ How I look at life and the way I truly appreciate the little things.

What is different about your transition back home from last year?

~ This year I had a much harder time transitioning back to life here in Michigan. At the airport when we got our phones back, I did not want it because I didn’t want to fall back into that routine. It was hard to go from such simplicity back to the materialistic way of life here. At first, I found myself wanting to be alone and not around many people. I found myself not even wanting to do some of my favorite things like go to practice because I would rather want to be reflecting on my amazing experience.

What’s next?

~ I’m excited to write a book and dive into an amazing night of exploration! I want to engage in deep conversations with our group and share our journals. I just can’t let this be the end of such a transformative journey.

~ Night of Exploration!! To continue our Cultural Strengthening Centers. After going back this year and seeing how these centers give opportunities to people in the communities, this helps us to push ourselves to give back to the people who welcomed us with open arms and so much love.
