All the activities authorized and developed in Mayakoba for the care of sea turtles are attached to the provisions of NOM-162-
SEMARNAT-2012 and to the conditions of our authorization .
The Mayakoba Turtle Camp is a member of the State Committee for the Protection , Conservation and Management of the Quintana Roo Sea Turtle , as well as the Committee for the Protection and Conservation of Sea Turtles of the municipality of Solidaridad .
1,745 eggs of the loggerhead and white species were incubated naturally and
1,656 turtles born in our incubation pen were released .

During the 2021 nesting season , 14 nests were protected at the Mayakoba Turtle Camp : 7 loggerhead nests and 7 white turtle nests .
