The program guarantees that the animal species present on the property and in the marine area adjacent to the Mayakoba facilities are not affected by the activities underway . It promotes respectful contemplation without interaction and various strategies are used such as fauna monitoring , control of feral fauna and those of sanitary importance in a comprehensive and sustainable manner , as well as the rescue and veterinary attention of specimens that require it , in addition to handling and conservation of their habitats , which is complementary to the care of fauna .
