The Integrated Waste Management Program ( PMIR ) is the tool used in which a series of actions are implemented to guarantee the minimization of waste , its recovery , reuse through donation and shipment of non-recyclable ( nonrecoverable ) waste to the landfill . To guarantee that the waste has an adequate final destination , only companies that have registration with the state and / or federal authorities are hired , since they have the infrastructure , equipment and agreements with the final destinations such as recyclers , treatments or landfill .
