A quick look at sustainability
They say that the world was not given to us by our parents, but it was lent to us by our children. The problem is that if we continue to use our resources unreasonably, our children might not have a place to live in. It is not so hard to do the right thing, to be more sustainable consumers, but some of us might not know the right path.
This is why, as part of Erasmus + Project Sustainable Consumption and Production we have taken a look at some aspects of everyday life that we should know more about, so we can improve our behaviour and me more responsible consumers and inhabitants of our planet.
We should know that we can recycle so much of the waste we throw away, that we can help forests regenerate instead of cutting down trees in large amounts, that we can reduce pollution to have fresher air and cleaner water, that we can choose not to buy products filled with toxic chemicals that ruin not only our health but also our environment.
Little things can make a difference and small steps can take us far, so here are some things to know and tips to follow to do ourselves a great service :)
