Participation should never require disclosure.
Survivors may choose to:

● Share anonymously
● Create art
● Volunteer
● Attend quietly
● Participate virtually All forms of participation are valid.
Practice Consent
Always obtain consent before:
● Recording
● Photographing
● Publishing stories
● Sharing names
Honor Different Healing Journeys
● Healing looks different for everyone.
● Avoid assumptions.
● Listen deeply.
● Respect boundaries.
Create Multiple Ways to Participate
Offer opportunities for:

Center Dignity
Survivors are not defined by violence.
They are leaders, artists, visionaries, healers, and changemakers.

Early in planning, ask:“ What access needs would support your participation?”
