SURGIA
AMAZING RACE

URGIA’s 2016 flagship event - The Amazing
Race was described as one of SURGIA’s most
impressive and entertaining experience of all
time! Students competed in a 7-station race filled
with major landmarks through Cavill on the Gold
Coast and tasks at each station, eventually ending
at Melbas for the awards and afterparty! Members
were required to complete tasks such as making
a beach mermaid, taking a selfie with the G:Link,
finishing a burrito in under 30 seconds and even
singing happy birthday to a lucky passerby! We
were also very proud to debut our brand new
SURGIA BLACK SCRUBS which were an instant
hit with each and every attendee. This event
successfully brought together our new and old
members whilst introducing our 2016 executive.
With over 100 competitors, this is an event that
SURGIA will be sure to continue in the future!
