COMPANY SPOTLIGHT Straaltechniek UK Ltd refurbish and install table shot blast machine for Turbocharger Services (UK) Ltd Started in 2010, Turbocharger Services (UK) Ltd has a mixture of experience and know-how, with a blend of technical expertise and a market-knowledgeable team of people. Recently the team at Turbocharger Services (UK) Ltd identified that they could increase production and provide a better finish to their components by changing from the type of shot blast equipment they were currently using and decided that a rotary table shot blast machine would be the best way forward. As a valued customer of Straaltechniek UK, who have been providing assistance with repairs and supplying spares on the existing shot blast machine Turbocharger Services (UK) Ltd made contact with them and invited James Lees (UK Sales Manager, Straaltechniek UK) to discuss with Jason Barratt (Technical Sales Manager, Turbocharger Services) and Mat McGee (Workshop Supervisor) the potential for supplying a machine suitable for their production requirements in line with their preference on the type of machine they wanted to replace their existing machine. After discussing the required specification and size of machine required Straaltechniek UK Ltd was able to source the exact type of machine that Mat and Jason expressed interested in. After an inspection on the equipment a quotation to refurbish the machine, supply and install on site was submitted. After further discussions took place an order was placed and the machine was refurbished at Straaltechniek UK’s workshop in Sheffield. The machine has since been delivered, installed and is now in full production.
