The initial company designation was derived from an abbreviated Fletcher Electro Salvage Company of London after the founder, RJ. Fletcher, who had developed an electro-chemical Nickel deposition process initially for the salvage of worn gun barrels and other military equipment used during World War One. With the apparent benefits to industry from the process, a wider remit to reclaim worn, corroded or miss-machined components was developed. During this expansion stage, further additional benefits from the Nickel deposition in the prevention of wear and corrosion were also evident, and thus, were added to the marketing brief of the process. We now offer a range of Electro-chemical deposition techniques, principally in Chromium and Nickel in addition to the Electroless Nickel Plating process (ENP).
