PRE-TREATMENT, SURFACE PREPARATION, DEGREASING & CLEANING
Straaltechniek UK Ltd working
hard to support customers
during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Straaltechniek UK Ltd,
like many other companies
have had to adjust the way
the business functions
to enable a safe working
environment for their
staff during the very
difficult situation the UK
and the rest of the world
are experiencing during
the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The versatility of each
department and the
members of staff within
these departments
coming together at such
a troublesome time has
proven to be an invaluable
asset to the company and
allowed Straaltechniek UK
to still produce and supply
parts as well as many other
services over the past few
months with the intention
of continuing to provide
these services for the
foreseeable future.
With the use of modern day technology and
the flexibility of being able to work remotely
from home their UK Sales Manager James
Lees has been able to continuously keep in
touch with colleagues still working at their
base in Sheffield. With regular contact via
email, telephone & video calls Straaltechniek
UK’s Managing Director Andy Allen has
ensured the business can function to the best
of its ability providing top level customer
service and supply of goods. Within the
Surface Preparation / Treatment Industry
there are many key sectors that have
particularly been vital for the UK during the
pandemic for example, Medical, Automotive,
Aerospace, Agricultural and many more
which means it is very important that
Straaltechniek UK have been able to
continue with production of spares,
manufacture of equipment, and on site
servicing of their customers equipment whilst
adhering to all government guidelines and
keeping both their staff, and also customer
staff members safe.
With staff Health & Safety their number 1
priority Straaltechniek UK made the decision
streamline the team to allow safe social
distancing within the workplace but also
ensured each department could function
as normal as possible. Whilst taking into
consideration the UK economy would no
doubt take a hit throughout the pandemic
they have made sure that they can still
provide every service within their portfolio to
support all customers that require assistance
every day whether it be the need for spare
parts, machine repairs & servicing, and
supply of equipment.
Staff from every department are working
hard and as you can see from the photos
both Glynn and Rick in the Machine Shop
are keeping up with customer demand
whilst wearing their essential PPE and
so keeping safe at the same time as
producing fantastic work.
Nick Redwood (Production Manager,
Straaltechniek UK) said “Since the pandemic
hit the UK we have continued to work with
limited streamlined staff due to keeping to
strict government guidelines and we are still
achieving our workload demand”
“Although it has been difficult and testing
over the past few months and no doubt will
continue to be tough over the coming weeks
/ months Straaltechniek UK will endeavour to
achieve customer satisfaction with the team
around us”
