PRE-TREATMENT, SURFACE PREPARATION, DEGREASING & CLEANING Straaltechniek UK Ltd working hard to support customers during the Covid-19 Pandemic Straaltechniek UK Ltd, like many other companies have had to adjust the way the business functions to enable a safe working environment for their staff during the very difficult situation the UK and the rest of the world are experiencing during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The versatility of each department and the members of staff within these departments coming together at such a troublesome time has proven to be an invaluable asset to the company and allowed Straaltechniek UK to still produce and supply parts as well as many other services over the past few months with the intention of continuing to provide these services for the foreseeable future. With the use of modern day technology and the flexibility of being able to work remotely from home their UK Sales Manager James Lees has been able to continuously keep in touch with colleagues still working at their base in Sheffield. With regular contact via email, telephone & video calls Straaltechniek UK’s Managing Director Andy Allen has ensured the business can function to the best of its ability providing top level customer service and supply of goods. Within the Surface Preparation / Treatment Industry there are many key sectors that have particularly been vital for the UK during the pandemic for example, Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Agricultural and many more which means it is very important that Straaltechniek UK have been able to continue with production of spares, manufacture of equipment, and on site servicing of their customers equipment whilst adhering to all government guidelines and keeping both their staff, and also customer staff members safe. With staff Health & Safety their number 1 priority Straaltechniek UK made the decision streamline the team to allow safe social distancing within the workplace but also ensured each department could function as normal as possible. Whilst taking into consideration the UK economy would no doubt take a hit throughout the pandemic they have made sure that they can still provide every service within their portfolio to support all customers that require assistance every day whether it be the need for spare parts, machine repairs & servicing, and supply of equipment. Staff from every department are working hard and as you can see from the photos both Glynn and Rick in the Machine Shop are keeping up with customer demand whilst wearing their essential PPE and so keeping safe at the same time as producing fantastic work.
