install lift or drop sections in specific areas
to load/unload products. It also possible to
transport (light) products through a Power
and Free system floor conveyor, instead of
through the air with the overhead conveyor.
For a Dutch Bicycle producer SGC installed
a floor mounted Power and Free system to
coat, cure and sticker bicycle frames.
PLC control
The Power & Free system is controlled and
monitored by a PLC (Programmable Logic
Controller), if needed further expanded
upon by using an Industrial PC. With a
touchscreen, the system can be operated,
parameters edited and system status
monitored. It is also possible to enter data
using barcode readers or link to a client
central control system (Enterprise Resource
Planning). Over a secure internet VPN
connection, malfunctions can be quickly
identified remotely and software can
be adapted to changing customer
requirements. This way the response
time is considerably reduced.
