QUALICOAT membership
continues to expand
The start of 2019
welcomes C&O
Powder Coaters
into membership
of QUALICOAT
UK & Ireland.
Having passed all
inspections late in
2018, C&O are the
latest company
to be offered an
applicators licence
and join a dynamic
association which
continues to go
from strength to
strength in the
application of high
quality architectural
powder coatings.
Based in St Helens, C&O
Powder Coatings were formed
in 1985 have continually
provided high quality coatings to the industry.
Alan Maginnis, Chair of QUALICOAT UK
& Ireland comments: ‘The association
welcomes C&O into membership which
has never been stronger in the UK,
our members meeting continue to grow
and this shows a real commitment to the
QUALICOAT standard from applicators
in the UK & Ireland. Importantly we are
seeing a huge increase in specifications
which call for architectural aluminium
coated to the QUALICOAT standard,
now in its fifteenth edition.

We are delighted to have further new
potential members in 2019 who are
undertaking inspections with a view to
obtaining licences and I look forward
to an active year within QUALICOAT.”
Across the globe the association is seeing an
increase in membership and the independent
QUALICOAT standard is clearly one of the
most successful global standards available
when specifying architectural aluminium
coatings. As London is seen as the global
architectural hub, it is clear that the
QUALICOAT standard can be easily
specified and applied anywhere.

with an up-to-date list of Powder
