New Sikkens Autoclear Lights
offers innovative headlight repair
AkzoNobel
has
introduced
Sikkens
Autoclear
Lights, an
innovative
product that
makes it far
simpler for
bodyshops
to repair
headlights
and save
their
customers
the expense
of replacing
the whole
unit.
Sikkens Autoclear Lights is easy to use because it comes in one
aerosol can, with no mixing or adhesive primer required. All
bodyshops need to do is press the cap in the bottom notch of the can,
give it a shake and they are ready to spray.
“We designed Sikkens Autoclear Lights by working with bodyshops to
identify their needs and come up with an original solution,” says Mick
Finch, Technical Coordinator “It’s an all-in-one solution that provides
bodyshops with high quality headlight repair as well as optimizing their
processes, saving them time and minimizing their customers’ costs.”
A simple three stage process
The damaged or cloudy headlight is carefully prepared, using the
recommended sanding steps. Next, the bodyshop applies a single
layer of Autoclear Lights to give a smooth, clear surface. Finally, the
assembly is left to dry for just 30 minutes at 60°C.
Because fewer preparation steps are required, Autoclear Lights saves
valuable time compared with similar products on the market.
Bodyshops also spend less time on application, as only one layer is
needed. In addition, because this is a standalone product, it does not
require additional adhesives or primers - saving money and making
every job even more straightforward.
