Grinding machines available from
stock in Master Abrasives special offer
Master Abrasives is offering
a limited number of grinding
machines from its Midlands-
based showroom at a
special rate.
Following the release of its new machinery and
equipment brochure, Master Abrasives has
launched a new initiative to offer its stocked
grinding machines for sale this summer. This
special showroom offer will run until the end of
September 2019 with limited availability and
includes free abrasives up to a set value, such
as grinding wheels and dressing tools. Further
details can be requested from Martin Stevens,
Applications Engineer.
Paul Batson, Managing Director,
commented: “The machines we have on
offer are high-quality and always in demand
in industry. Being able to offer such a short
lead time on these models from stock will be
a great advantage to some of the toolroom
managers who want to get ahead of demand
before the busy fourth quarter starts.
“Our plan is to update our showroom by
adding new grinding machine models from
the Micromatic and ALEX machine tool range
for demonstration.”
The first machine available is the Micromatic
eco 200 universal, a Cylindrical, Semi-
Automatic grinding machine ideal for
external, internal or face grinding of small
components up to 200mm diameter in low
to medium production batches. This model is
supplied with additional features such as
digital read out and micro taper adjustment
which helps the operator to achieve the
necessary tolerance requirements.
Alex Machine Tools’ NH-500 surface
grinding machine is the second machine in
Master Abrasives’ summer sale. This machine
has a grinding area of 500mm long x
250mm width and comes with PLC control
and auto lubrication already fitted, a
magnetic chuck with built in De-magnetiser,
200mm diameter grinding wheel and
coolant tank (30LPM) with magnetic
separator. Also a full range of accessories
which includes sets of wrenches, a single
point diamond and mounting block.
Both machines comply with UK Legislation
and are CE marked.
Master Abrasives’ engineers can install
stocked grinding machines in a matter of
days in customer facilities. The Master
applications engineering team offers
technical support at the start and end of the
customer machine purchase, advising on the
machinery and equipment, abrasives and the
general grinding and finishing process. They
also provide machine functionality training at
the time of installation to ensure engineers
can run and control their new grinding
machines confidently.
Previous customers of grinding machines
from Master Abrasives have given their
testimonials on the process of buying a
machine from the solutions-based provider.
One comment is from Boneham and Turner’s
Managing Director, Peter Boneham, who
explained: “From start to finish, the whole
purchasing experience with Master Abrasives
was very good: communication, deadlines
and promised delivery date were successfully
met which significantly helped us with our
production planning.”
From the grinding and finishing showroom in
Daventry, Master Abrasives’ visitors can also
view and try out a range of metrology
equipment from the Innovative Automation
Products brand. The selection of measuring
equipment available onsite for the grinding
process includes a height gauge, air gauge
and optical and digital profile projectors.
Master Abrasives encourages manufacturers
to visit their grinding and finishing showroom
in Daventry in the Midlands where their
application engineers can show Micromatic
grinding machines’ capabilities in action as
well as superfinishing devices, metrology
equipment and abrasives. More testimonials
