Following the release of its new machinery and equipment brochure, Master Abrasives has launched a new initiative to offer its stocked grinding machines for sale this summer. This special showroom offer will run until the end of September 2019 with limited availability and includes free abrasives up to a set value, such as grinding wheels and dressing tools. Being able to offer such a short lead time on these models from stock will be a great advantage to some of the toolroom managers who want to get ahead of demand before the busy fourth quarter starts. “Our plan is to update our showroom by adding new grinding machine models from the Micromatic and ALEX machine tool range for demonstration.” The first machine available is the Micromatic eco 200 universal, a Cylindrical, Semi- Automatic grinding machine ideal for external, internal or face grinding of small components up to 200mm diameter in low to medium production batches. This model is supplied with additional features such as digital read out and micro taper adjustment which helps the operator to achieve the necessary tolerance requirements. Alex Machine Tools’ NH-500 surface grinding machine is the second machine in Master Abrasives’ summer sale. This machine has a grinding area of 500mm long x 250mm width and comes with PLC control and auto lubrication already fitted, a magnetic chuck with built in De-magnetiser, 200mm diameter grinding wheel and coolant tank (30LPM) with magnetic separator. Also a full range of accessories which includes sets of wrenches, a single point diamond and mounting block. Both machines comply with UK Legislation and are CE marked. Master Abrasives’ engineers can install stocked grinding machines in a matter of days in customer facilities. The Master applications engineering team offers technical support at the start and end of the customer machine purchase, advising on the machinery and equipment, abrasives and the general grinding and finishing process. They also provide machine functionality training at the time of installation to ensure engineers can run and control their new grinding machines confidently.
