New Guard Coatings Group
expand into Scotland
New Guard Coatings Group
is pleased to announce the
opening of its fi rst Scottish
branch. From the 8th April,
the group will have a base
at Unit 30 Auldhouse
Retail Park, Cogan Street,
Pollokshaws, Glasgow, G43
1AP. Supplying a variety
of industrial paints and
coatings to industry. This is
a result of a rise in demand
for its products and services
in Scotland, also the desire

to offer full coverage of the
UK to its many clients.
This new opening brings the number of sites
operated by New Guard Coatings in the UK
to seven.
The 1500 sq. ft. Glasgow office will allow
the group to increase their stock holding to
over 400,000 litres of product, a colour
matching service and offer free next day
delivery, within a 40-mile radius of the office.
Ben Cooper, Managing Director of New
Guard Coatings Group, said of the opening
“This is such an exciting time for New Guard
Coatings Group. Our expansion plans are in
full swing as we continue to focus on
providing high quality products and services
to support both existing and new clients.”
Mr Cooper further added “A lot of our clients
often have very specific and bespoke
requirements. We not only aim to meet all of
their needs, but also help them develop their
businesses too, with technical support and
training.”
The office will be headed up by Stewart
Murray, who has 30 years’ experience in the
coatings industry and is FROSIO level 3
accredited. Mr Murray commented “It is a
great honour to be asked to head up New
Guard Coatings Scottish division and
something that I am extremely excited
about.” He went on to add “With a large
number of clients already being based in
Scotland, they will now benefit from the local
stock holding and the increased support we
can now offer. This is a hugely exciting time
for New Guard Coatings Group.”
