I’m not really one for sun
loungers, so was instead more than
happy to try my luck on the 18-hole
golf course that draws many guests to
Paradis. Home to the popular annual
Beachcomber Pro-Am tournament,
it’s a layout unique amongst Mauritian
courses: the only 18-hole par-72
golf course on the island set in
the heart of a luxury resort, and –
along with Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club
– one of just two to boast fairways
