ARLINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY , ARLINGTON ISD TO PROVIDE FREE SUMMER MEALS TO CHILDREN
School is out which means summer meals are back at the library ! We have partnered with Arlington ISD to provide summer meals for children under the age of 18 .
These meals are free and there are no income or identification requirements to participate . Children must be present to receive food , parents cannot request food for children who are not with them .
Our summer meals will start June 3 , 2024 , and will be available Monday through Friday at these select library locations :
• George W . Hawkes Downtown Library , 100 S . Center St ., from 11 to 11:30 a . m .
• Northeast Branch , 1905 Brown Blvd ., from 11 to 11:30 a . m .
• East Library and Recreation Center , 1817 New York Ave ., from 12 to 12:30 p . m .
• Southeast Branch , 900 SE Green Oaks Blvd ., from 12:15 to 12:45 p . m .
Meals will also be available at Arlington ISD schools that have summer school in session . Below is a list of locations :
Elementary Schools : Anderson , Bebensee , Berry , Blanton , Bryant , Farrell , McNutt , Peach , Short , Swift , Webb and Wood
Junior High Schools : Barnett , Boles and Nichols
High Schools : ACHS , Bowie , Lamar , Seguin and Venture
