VALUE TO KEHE & SUPPLIER PARTNERS: OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES

FSMA 204 and Traceability requirements will be fulfilled by providing ASNs with Key Data Elements related to traceability
Reduce amount of Supplier dispute tickets related to shortage-based Unloading Discrepancies in the DCs
Eliminates the need to manually print all POs at DC for validation due to ASN level receiving
Improved accuracy of DC inventory due to lot codes and shipment quantities tied to PO ASN quantities
By automating the order cycle, suppliers will no longer leverage manual communication( or a combination of EDI and manual data exchanges)
EDI Supplier Compliance to strengthen the relationship with KeHE
Specifically for current EDI connections: changes will no longer need to be managed via email with the buyer
With the key data exchanges of the purchase order acknowledgement, purchase order change, and ASN, there will be fewer opportunities for miscommunication regarding order fulfillment, which will proactively identify discrepancies that trigger a UDR today
Benefit – Suppliers will spend less time with UDR management when ASN and shipment quantities match
In pursuit of maximized efficiency, KeHE is updating the order management communication requirement for suppliers. This is an opportunity for suppliers to show KeHE they’ re ready to continue growing their relationship
KeHE’ s updated requirements align more closely with industry standard
