Gabriel tried to wake you up from your nightmare for ten minutes now. When you woke up, you screamed “Mom!”, tears streaming down your face.
“It’s over. Take deep breaths.”
Gabriel was holding you tight while you were crying his arms. Crying about a past you wish could disappear. After a couple minutes, you finally managed to calm yourself, but you stayed in Gabriel’s arms.
