Tammy-Ann: A Desert Beauty
17-year old Tammy-Ann Solomons is a typical teenager who
loves to cook, design clothes and participate in sports such as
swimming, basketball, tennis and volleyball. However, this native
from Walvis Bay in Namibia has somewhat bigger dreams than
her average counterpart. She has her sights set on an international education and making it as a model, singer and actor.
This December, Tammy-Ann will join a handpicked group of talented youngsters for the bi- nnual AMTC Convention in Orlando,
a
Florida, where she will showcase her talent to some of the most
influential agents, scouts and management groups.

drama in Los Angeles at UCLA . I love doing Acting,
Singing, Modelling and Fashion Designing.
Have you participated in competitions

the Ark. Most of the time I was cast as the lead character and this sparked my interest in acting. In 2012
I won Miss Teen Walvis Bay and the year after that I
was crowned Miss De Duine. I also signed up for the
NBC television series talent search, Trustco Star Performer. I made it to the Top 50 and at the same time
also reached the Top 5 for Miss Teenager Namibia.
My first big modelling job was the Swak
