Learning  Experiences:   In  this  lesson,  the  students  will  be  shown  the  example  of  the  completed  task  (found   on  the  wiki).  After  this,  the  teacher,  using  the  chosen  technology,  will  walk  through   the  steps  the  students  will  need  to  take  in  order  to  complete  the  task  and  create  a   digital  comic  (adding  images,  speech  bubbles  and  audio).  Students  should  be  given   time  to  use  the  technology  and  test  its  features.  Following  this,  students  will  be  given   time  to  complete  their  drawings  for  their  comic  books.  The  teacher  will  then  be   required  to  scan  their  drawings  in  preparation  for  the  next  lesson.       Timeline  of  the  lesson:   • Show  example  of  the  completed  task  to  the  class  –  5  mins  (approx).   • Walkthrough  of  technology  –  20  mins.     • Students  test  out  technology  and  its  features  –  10  mins.   • Time  allocated  to  finishing  the  drawings  –  15  mins       Please  note  there  has  been  no  time  allocated  to  the  scanning  of  the  drawings  as  this   can  be  done  outside  of  this  lesson  by  the  teacher.       Preparation:     • Choose  technology  most  suitable  for  the  classroom  (depending  on  the   technology  that  is  accessible).   • Familiarise  yourself  with  the  technology.   • Have  a  link  to  the  completed  example  of  the  task.   • Set  up  the  projector  or  interactive  whiteboard  to  use  for  whole  class   demonstrations.       Materials:     • Access  to  interactive  whiteboard  or  projector   • Colouring  pencils  and  pens   • Scanner     Resources:   Resources  can  be  found  on  the  Teacher  and  Student  resources  page  of  the  wiki.
