The life of Frederick Bulsara began in the West African island
of Zanzibar on September 5, 1946. 25 years later in London,
under the name of Freddie Mercury, he headed the now legendary rock group called Queen.
His powerful voice and unusable staging, generated that becomes part of
the musical history as one of the icons
of global melodic rock.
Prior to joining "Queen", Mercury
worked solo and occasionally served
as a producer and he also participated
in events such as guest musician for
other artists.
This legendary band was formed in
1971 in London, England, the country
where Mercury had arrived with his
family, running away from Zanzibar
Revolution. The group was founded
by the guitarist Brian May, the singer
Freddie Mercury and the drummer
Roger Taylor, with the bassist John
Deacon completing the lineup during
the following year.
No doubt, Freddie's voice was one of
the trademarks of this band that undermined the musical life of success
and hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody",
"Killer Queen",

"Somebody to Love", "Do not Stop
Me Now" brands , "Crazy Little Thing
Called Love", "Barcelona" and especially his famous "We Are the Champions", among others.
Parallel to this, he continued with his
solo career releasing two albums, although most impact as a musician he
was accompanied by the band.
Freddie had a long relationship with
the hairdresser Jim Hutton, who
learned in 1991 that he had HIV. He
accompanied Mercury until his last
days, which saw him suffer of a bronchopneumonia complicated by AIDS
that ultimately ended his life on November 24, 1991, just one day after
officially communicating this last illness he suffered.
