High English Workshop for the PTM courses

you for starting this great adventure in our new English course !
This course has been designed to help heroes ( students ) improve their different English skills to defeat Failord . We will be focusing primarily in the practical usage of writing and speaking , and secondarily on reading and listening , applying paralinguistic skills for academic texts . Thematically , the skills will be enhanced through analysis , discussion , critique and elaboration in individual and collaborative papers using different kinds of essays .
This class is gamified but it is not a game . In only looks like one .
Specific Objectives :
Encourage in heroes an active , constant participation requesting from them punctual and well-founded opinions . Cultivate linguistic and generic competences through planned activities for their application in controlled simulated scenarios . Improve the students ’ ( Heroes ’) ability to use language in a fluid
way , using complex structures when interacting with native speakers . Additionally , the heroes will be able to understand and interpret both oral situations and written texts ( demanding and complex ), which are commonly found in a university level context .
