    Off  to  School     When  I  was  younger   I  just  wanted  to  make   others  smile.  But  it  never   happened.  just  like  Santa   never  delivered  presents,   my  laughter  was  a  myth.     Humming  the  same  show  tunes   outside  of  a  local  theater   hoping  to  be  pulled  on  stage.     The  spot  light  clicked  off   when  I  looked  up.     Standing  in  the  dark.   Alone.       By  Harvey  Black                                                     8
