KELLEY PARK
All ages served by local centers
With 50 parks and more than 790 acres of land, the
city of Apple Valley provides a wealth of recreation and
leisure opportunities.
The Teen Center
For youths in grades 6-12, the Teen Center offers a
place to play games, watch movies and interact with
other teenagers. The center has a big-screen television,
video games, movies, foosball, pingpong, board games
and sports equipment. The building is located near a
baseball fi eld, tennis court, outdoor skate park, ice rink,
basketball court and the aquatic center.
Redwood Community Center and Teen Center
The Redwood Community Center serves as a meeting
place for craft sales, wedding receptions, baby showers,
family gatherings and other groups. It is located at the
intersection of County Road 42 and Elm Drive and also
includes space for a second Teen Center in the city.
Disc golf at Alimagnet Park
Alimagnet Park, 211 Ridgeview Drive, is an 85-acre
trail that features a disc golf course. Discs may be rented
at the Apple Valley Community Center. Each set con-
tains a driver, a mid-range disc and a putter.
Apple Valley Community Center
& Apple Valley Senior Center
Apple Valley provides seasonal opportunities for
adult basketball leagues, golf leagues, softball leagues,
volleyball leagues and wiffl eball leagues. The Commu-
nity Center, 14603 Hayes Road, also has recreational
programs and classes for all ages. Community Center
amenities include:
• Two gymnasiums, one with a hardwood fl oor and
one sport court fl oor.
• All-Purpose, Multi-Purpose, Arts and Crafts rooms.
• Kitchen.
The Parks and Recreation Department headquarters is

The Apple Valley Senior Center, 14601 Hayes Road,
offers a variety of activities to seniors through member-
ship in the Apple Valley Seniors.  The facility offers a
banquet/event center, kitchen facilities, public meeting
room, and Wi-Fi access. For rentals, call [phone].
Kelley Park
Kelley Park is located near the center of Apple Valley’s
hub of shops, restaurants and housing at 6855 Fortino
St. During the summer the park hosts a weekly con-
cert series, special events and one can tell how hot it is
outside based on the number of children playing at its
popular splash pad.
