Total population within the district has reached 33,000. Student population is more than 6,900. Farmington Public Schools employs nearly 850 peo- ple, including more than 400 licensed teachers. The district includes Farmington High School, Dodge and Boeckman middle schools and fi ve elementary schools – Akin Road, Farmington, Meadow View, North Trail and Riverview. The district launched its iPad Initia- tive in 2013 that aimed to issue an iPad to every student with the goal that the access to technology will improve student learning.
