Other area festival and events in Dakota County in- clude: Pinky Swear MessFest – This annual event typically held in June, at the Pro Paintball course, 22554 Texas Ave., Lakeville. The event includes a youth and fam- ily slopstacle course event with 1- and 2-mile options. There were 10 slopstacles over the course of 2 miles. Participants and volunteers are being sought. Lakeville’s Pan-O-Prog – July 3-14. Events and activi- ties are scheduled including a classic car cruise, grand parade, lots of food and music and fi reworks on the Fourth of July. Features wine tasting, beer tasting, entertainment, fi reworks, car- nival rides, children’s activities, emergency personnel demonstrations, food and beverages from local restau- rants, and parades. Lakeville Art Festival – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 14 and 15, 2019, Lakeville Area Arts Center, at 20965 Holy- oke Ave. Each year, the festival hosts approximately 60 exhibitors who show and sell their work in many forms and media including visual, performing, and literary.
