Chief Editor
Dear readers!
The February issue, which you are
holding in your hands, anticipates the coming of
spring, the time that fills our souls with inspiration
and, with the ripple of breeze, instills the
expectation of positive changes. The way they will
come to us and how ready we'll be to open our hearts to
them only depends on ourselves, but with filling our space
with joy and goodness, we are making ourselves at least one
step closer to them.
A few years ago I started to be seriously interested in
positive psychology. The followers of this path provide valuable
advice on how to develop the sense of gratitude and an optimistic
attitude to life. Moreover, all of them write about the importance of the
spiritual flow, which we inevitably fall into when doing what we love. In their
opinion, it is not the meeting of short-term needs what brings us the feeling of
happiness, but being exactly in the state of self-development during the process
of fulfilling the certain task and getting the positive results of our work, opening the
new horizons of knowledge through it, both intellectual and emotional. I've checked over this
statement through my own experience more than once, and therefore I decided to dedicate this
issue to people who are creative and very ambitious. Each of them wasn't afraid of starting the
journey towards his dreams and of leading the others. I am proud of their success and believe that
they'll have ahead the new achievements and objectives realized!
I am pleased that the artist and the founder of the “Kvartira” art studio Alexandra Nedogarova, as
well as jazz musicians Maxim Berezinets and Ilya Chervatiuk, who I met at one of the musical evenings at
DO.BRO Coffee, shared with us the stories of their successful experience. The young talents, Polina
Ermizina, Marina Kunitskaya and Valeriy Stanislavskiy also told us about their love for playing musical
instruments. Anastasia Kostenko revealed us the romantic vision and appreciation of art, and Ekaterina
Malysheva not only told us about the beginning of her creative path, but also drew a cover for this issue
that conveys the serenity and joy of each new day, If creativity and love for life reside within your soul. I
believe that this notion will definitely be shared by the known in our city radio host Galina Pankrats, who
traditionally starts her Saturday mornings with creating the images of coffeecats. You would like to know
who those are? Feel free to flip through this issue and read!
We are also particularly proud of the fact that graduates of the FFL actively cooperate with our
magazine. For example, Natalia Peresypkina and Irina Alimskaya from Spain and France respectively
shared their memories of how much efforts they had devoted to dance classes and what impact on the
formation of their personalities it had had.
As before, we continue to expand the geography of our contacts and the circle of friends of the
magazine with great joy and responsiveness. In view of this, Robert L. Zanussi from the USA and Ken from
the UK shared the stories about their home countries and their cultures, and the amazing Amur writer and
poetess Galina Odintsova suggested that we start cooperation with the Amur regional department of
the Russian Writers' Union. As part of this cooperation, we have already exchanged publications and held
a joint literary event in a format that hadn`t been previously held in our region. This experience inspired all
of us, like the fresh breath of spring! And this is just the beginning!
I can`t fail to mention that we have new headings in this issue, such as “Health”, “Sport” and
“Psychology”, each of which, thanks to its authors, reveals us a new perspective on life and provides the
new possibilities of saving and multiplying the spiritual and physical energy.
Starting from December 21, the amount of daylight is increasing by several minutes every day, and I
wish you that along with these minutes your life would only get better and brighter under the rays of the
spring sun!
With love,
Sunrise Chief Editor,
Elena Rudakova
