Remember
• Focus on the main points ( you can fill in the details later )
• Make a note of any questions you have or anything that you don ’ t understand or find confusing . You can then follow up with your teacher
• Jot down keywords , names and dates .
• Take clear , organised and structured notes – watch the Cornell note-taking video for a tried and tested method – it ’ s crucial that your notes are easy to read and make sense later when you come back to them .
• Remember to use abbreviations and symbols – Jack ’ s video provides some of these but do make a list of your own .
• Write in bullet points / phrases – not complete sentences .
