City government
The city is governed by a seven-member city council , made up of the mayor , two at-large council members and representatives from each ward in the northeast , northwest , southeast and southwest portions of the city . To view

The council is responsible for determining the policy and direction of the city , including land use issues and ordinances . The council appoints a city manager to oversee the dayto-day operations .
The City Council typically meets at 7 p . m . on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at Plymouth City Hall , 3400 Plymouth Blvd . Residents can watch regular council meetings live or by replay at plymouthmn . gov .
