Humber played for the Colts dur- ing the 44th Super Bowl against the Saints in 2010. Refl ecting on both cham- pionship games, Humber said, the experiences were completely night and day. “It’s hard to even make it to the playoffs, let alone play in the Super Bowl, so to play in a Super Bowl and lose and go back nine years later and have a win be the outcome is a dream come true,” Humber said. This time around, Hum- ber said the energy in the arena felt like a home game due to the strong showing or Patriots fans. Even though there is a lot of hype and festivities surrounding the NFL fi nale, Humber said he most looked forward to playing the actual game. “Having my family there was all that matters, be- cause I’m there for business and to play the game,” he added. Playing for Hall of Fame Coach Bill Belichick has also been a career highlight for Humber. “All the success he’s led with the Patriots is just remarkable, and for me to be a part of a successful season that led to a Super Bowl win is pretty special,” Humber said. This is Humber’s fi rst Super Bowl win and the sixth Patriots win. When asked about the continu- ous Super Bowl success for the New England team, Humber said, “There’s no secret, everyone just plays their part and does their job.” COMMUNITY BRIEFS Stay Connected anytime, any place l with ith online li access • COMMUNITY NEWS • SPORTS • PUBLIC SAFETY • GOVERNMENT WWW.HOMETOWNSOURCE.COM Community forum on race is March 9 The sixth annual Com- munity Forum on Race will be hosted 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 9, at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave. N.
