All’ s fair in county and Waconia
A week of pure fun awaits area residents every summer thanks to the Carver County Fair, which will celebrate agriculture and community for the 114th year in 2026. The Carver County Fair will be held Aug. 12-16 at the Carver County Fairgrounds, located on the southwest edge of downtown Waconia with easy access from Highway 5. Consistently one of Minnesota’ s most-attended county fairs, the event features food, entertainment, 4-H exhibits, vendors, rides, games and agricultural exhibits that draw visitors from throughout the region.
Fair organizers have another year of fan favorites and new, exciting attractions planned for the 2026 Carver County Fair.
In the grandstand, watch ATV Big Air Tour, Motokazie, a Tractor Pull event, and a demolition derby. The Entertainment Center will feature performances by many local, regional and larger acts.
Fairgoers will also be able to enjoy an amateur talent contest and more. Other attractions include a several card contests and other contests.
As always, the fair will feature a variety of 4-H exhibits and performances, a veterans program, an exhibit by the Carver County Historical Society and hands-on classes in building fairy gardens. The Carver County Century Farms Recognition / Outstanding Senior Citizen Award programs will also be featured.
The professionals of Gold Star Amusements will again provide a safe, quality carnival that’ s sure to please thrill seekers of all sorts and a midway that will put one’ s skills to the test in a variety of games and challenges.
