Set up tee time at area golf courses
If you’ re looking to hit the links, a top-notch golf experience can be found only a moment away from downtown Waconia at Island View Golf Club, located at 7795 Laketown Parkway off of CSAH 30.
Touted as“ Golf’ s Best Kept Secret,” this beautiful, challenging 18-hole semi-private golf course is located just off the shores of Lake Waconia. The club has 375 members and is open to the public for golf( full and associate memberships are available) and dining. Its fairways are lined with mature trees and its rolling hills and manicured greens offer championship golf with some of the most scenic holes in Minnesota.
Built in 1959, Island View Golf Club covers 145 acres. The par 72 course measures 6,578 yards from the blue tees, 6,252 yards from the whites, and 5,691 yards from the golds. Island View Golf Club also offers a full length driving range, as well as chipping and putting practice areas.
Island View offers both men’ s and women’ s golf leagues, as well as many club golfing events throughout the year. It also features a junior golf program.
From golf attire to the latest in golf equipment, the Island View Golf Club Pro Shop has it all. The shop offers golf balls, putters, clubs, shoes, attire for men and women, hats, gift certificates, and more.
