Chamber is friend to area businesses

The Waconia business community is fortunate to have the Waconia Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, which is well-known and respected for its dedication to promoting local business and the community.
The Chamber is led by Christine Fenner, President, along with a strong, industry-diverse board of directors that work hard to meet the needs of the members and promote the community.

Events like Sister Saturday, 4th of July Fireworks, Nickle Dickle Day, the Community Expo, Scarecrow Tour, D. E. A. R. Hunting, Tree Lighting, Homespun Holiday, the Chamber Golf Scramble, west metro business-to-business events, monthly luncheons, coffee connections, and much more bring revenue to town. Every event the chamber hosts is done with the purpose of enriching Waconia’ s business and community life.
The Tourism Bureau is active in bringing people into the community. In conjunction with the Chamber, it works to encourage people from far and wide to make Waconia their destination. Our diverse community invites guests and residents alike to be curious and explore all that Waconia has to offer. Community information is available 24 / 7 in the visitor’ s kiosk in the lobby of Waconia City Hall.
Area businesses can invest in membership and utilize the Chamber’ s services as an advocate, resource for networking and advertising, both locally and to the larger metro area. Members are also listed on the Chamber’ s website DestinationWaconia. org and included in tourism information.
The Waconia Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is a 501c6 business membership organization driven by its members to support and encourage a vital and prosperous business community. It is a business advocate and resource as well as a community partner. The work of the Chamber is focused in four areas: economic development and workforce, member services and programs, advocacy and public policy, tourism and destination identity.
The Chamber, which was established over 60 years ago, is located inside City Hall at 201 S. Vine Street. For more information, visit DestinationWaconia. org. Follow the Chamber on Instagram and Facebook @ DestinationWaconia and @ WaconiaEvents.
