Meet the Class of 2038!
In the winter of 2025-26, local kindergarten students( the Class of 2038) were asked two questions:“ What would you like to be when you group up?” and“ What do you need to do to make this happen?” This keepsake section contains their responses. Thank you to everyone who took part in this project.
Mr. Burg( Bayview) Axel: Police Officer; try to chase a criminal. Brynlee: Police Officer; put bad guys in jail. Catherine: Firefighter; put out fires and wear a hat. Frederic: Ninja; learn to fight and sneak. George: Champion Ninja; take a lot of ninja classes. Harper: Police Officer; catch someone littering or catch them robbing a bank. Hazel: Vet; help animals. Henley: Astronaut; go up in space. Huxley: Astronaut / Cooker / Artist; practice a lot and finish the last school. Isla: Princess; don’ t know what I need to do. Jack: Firefighter; save people’ s lives. Joslyn: Firefighter; blow out fires. Knox: Basketball Coach and Wrestler; play basketball my whole life and wrestle with a body pillow. Lincoln: Vet; take care of animals. Lorelei: Scientist; make potions and examine blood for sickness. Maggie: Singer and Dancer;. McCoy: SWAT Officer; practice. Sammi: Doctor; make money. Sebastian: Policeman; get the jacket, badge and hat. Silas: Hockey Player; score some goals and pass. Will: Firefighter; go to college and learn.
