Dear Valued Member,
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! With the Christmas season upon us it’s time to be close with our loved ones
and be thankful for all the blessings in our lives. From me and the golf staff team, we would like to thank you for
being members of the Club and allowing us to serve you.
The Club was very busy during November. With all of our members back and the courses in great shape, many fun
events were hosted. Between the demo days and the 7 tournaments we hosted, we hope your experience was one
to remember. Heading into December make sure you mark your calendar for the following golf events. We will be
open on Christmas until 2:30pm so if you would like to golf on that glorious day just call to book a reservation.

As we enter into 2020 all golfers around the world will be greeted with a new, improved handicap system. The
World Handicap System will debut in January and will allow golfers to play on an equitable and fair basis around
the world. There will be a blackout period for GHIN services from January 1 – 5 to allow that platform to transition
to the World Handicap System. During this period of time you will not be able to post scores. Please hold onto
any scores during this time and post them after the platform is back up and running on January 6th. To help the
education process for our membership I have provided the following link. Please take some time to go review this
information.

In addition, on the next page of this newsletter, is a “Things to Know” document that highlights some of the major
changes. Should you have any questions concerning the WHS please stop in to see me or send me an email and I’ll
be happy to assist. It is my opinion that this new system will be an improvement on the old one. However, as with
any change, there will be a period of time to adjust so please be patient as we incorporate these changes.
We wish you safe travels if you are leaving for the holidays and we hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!
Regards,
Andy Kesling
