Happy New Year !
I am sure we can all agree we are glad that 2020 is behind us . At the end of every year I feel that it is important to take a moment and reflect on what the year has meant for us . I feel that 2020 was a year of learning who we really are .
At the Club we learned a great deal about our staff as they adapted to a new way of operating the business . The team responded quickly to local , state and national guidelines for safety and created protocols for our facility to provide a safe environment for our members and guests . We learned the true heart of our members as you organized and contributed to an employee fund that helped our food and beverage staff through a couple of trying months . I learned that we are a very close family here at Sun ‘ N Lake and we really come together in tough times . I also learned that I no longer understand my daughter ’ s second grade math homework . When did it become so complicated ?
I am very proud to call Sun ‘ N Lake my home and I am looking forward to what 2021 has to offer . I cannot wait to get the activities at the Club hopping again . Although it still may take some time , we will be back to having fun as one big family again very soon .
The team at Sun ‘ N Lake , the Membership and the Board of Supervisors successfully navigated 2020 together . Those tough times over the past year will make us even stronger for the years to come .
