LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
We are beginning the busiest part of our 2021 Golf Season . Traffic patterns and trying to adjust them with rope and stakes continues to be a focus from staff . We have also used some large native rocks in certain areas to assist in keeping carts out of the high traffic areas .
So far , this winter has been a little colder than the last few years which has definitely slowed any growth in rough areas . Over the next month staff will be working on some small cleaning and trimming projects on the outer edges of the courses . Staff will also be working on some additional coquina areas and refreshing some existing ones as part of our efforts to improve cart path function and use .
Staff has continued to adapt and overcome in regard to the ever changing protocols for COVID-19 . I would like to take a minute to recognize and thank all of the golf maintenance staff for their work and dedication to SNL during the past year and I look forward to bigger and better things for them in 2021 .
Keep it green ,
Earl McMinn Superintendent
