As I write this, I am in high anticipation of my yearly “candy-binge” brought on by Halloween! By the time you read this, Halloween will already be over and our thoughts will all be turning toward who is making the turkey this year for Thanksgiving! (Not me! I do NOT cook!)
We might take some time to relax and enjoy ourselves for the holidays but NALA doesn’t slow down! Six Webinars are scheduled for November and there are already two scheduled for December! Check them out on NALA’s website (NALA.org)! If you missed a Webinar you wanted to watch, most of them have been recorded and you are able to view them through NALA’s “on-demand webinars” link.
Speaking of CLEs, seminars, and such – NALA launched the new Learning Management System (LMS) in early October. What is LMS? LMS is a software application that allows for the administration, documentation, tracking, delivery, and reporting of courses. With NALA’s new LMS, course completion certificates cam be printed any time you want, you can review your course history, you can access all of your courses, and many more features. NALA is continuing to tweak LMS to provide more and will post updates on their website.
Lastly, I want to let you know (again) that the 2017 NALA Conference & Expo will be held in Orlando, Florida! You don’t have to be a NALA member to attend the conference and it is a fantastic way to network with paralegals from across the nation, take in some fantastic seminars and, hey – who doesn’t want to go to Florida! Check it out on NALA’s website!
