One of the honorees at the convention was none other than WDALA’s very own Brad Beehler! Brad was a member of WDALA many years ago and has gone on to become an attorney practicing law in Grand Forks. Brad has continually supported NALA and the paralegal profession throughout his career and was awarded the Founders’ Award at the national convention. The Founders’ Award is given to recognize extraordinary or outstanding contributions to the growth and future of the paralegal profession, which impacted or affected the paralegal profession in a positive manner for a significant period of time. Brad’s speech was very moving and inspirational and made me very proud to be not only a paralegal, but a paralegal from North Dakota!
The NALA convention is a true catalyst for boosting enthusiasm for our national and local organizations! I want to express my sincere gratitude to the members of WDALA for allowing me to attend the convention, experience the excitement, meet so many new friends from across the country, and become infused with the fire to do better, learn more, and be proud of my profession!
