Summit Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Dean
Ok, ok. A lot has been said about veteran Summit Latin teacher Mr. Dean already. So why are we talking about him again? Because talking about a legendary teacher is like that petrified bread from Pompeii: it never grows stale. Yes, Mr. Dean is iconic. He is the Mortal of Immortal Quotes: only he would tell you "my favorite type of chicken is DEAD." He toils to instill in his students the difference between tamen and tandem, and something resembling fondness for Latin. He inspires us to do well at Convention with the charisma of Caesar. He persists in mastering his Smartboard with the fortitude of Aeneas. Yes, Mr. Dean is a legend. And as such, he deserves a holiday. A holiday rivaling the Elysian Fields.
