We are excited to introduce a new way to explore our summer youth programs by using QR codes ! Our redesigned catalog makes it easier than ever to find and register for activities that fit your schedule . Please follow the guide below to make the most of our updated format .
How to Scan QR Codes
A Quick Response code is a barcode that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet to quickly access information , websites , or other digital content . QR codes are becoming increasingly popular for their ease of use and ability to store a large amount of data .
For modern smartphone devices :
• Launch the camera app on your smart phone .
• Hold your phone steady and point the camera at the QR code . Make sure the code is within the frame .
• Your camera will automatically detect the QR code and display a notification at the screen .
• Tap the notification to open the link or content associated with the QR code .
For older smartphones that do not have built-in QR code scanning capabilities :
• Open your device ’ s app store
• Download a QR scanner
UNDERSTANDING THE YOUTH ENRICHMENT TABLES ON PAGES 6 - 10
Each table in the Youth Enrichment section is organized and includes key details about highlighted classes :
• Course Name – The title of the class being offered .
• Age / Grade – The appropriate age or grade level for participants .
• Day & Dates – The day ( s ) of the week and specific dates the class will be held .
• Cost – The fee for participating in the class . New courses are being added daily , check the website regularly for updated information .
Daytime , Evening , and Weekend Classes
We have organized the schedule to include weekday , evening , and weekend options :
• Daytime Weekday Tables – Classes scheduled Monday through Friday until 4 p . m . are located on pages 6 - 10 .
• Nights & Weekend Tables – Classes that are held in the evenings and on weekends are located on page 11 .
Location Color Coding
To help you quickly identify where each daytime weekday class is taking place , we have color-coded the tables by location :
• Grey – Classes held at Richardson Elementary School
• Yellow – Classes held at John Glenn Middle School
• Green – Classes held at Carver Elementary School
