SUMMER 2021 Italian American Digest
This year , the American Italian Renaissance Foundation had the privilege of honoring six Italian American youth who have excelled scholastically and athletically in their academic careers . These honorees were awarded scholarships in a small ceremony at the American Italian Cultural Center ' s newly renovated reception space .
Honorees included Ethan Gilchrist of Chalmette High , Jake Dalmado ( not pictured ) of Archbishop Hannan , Paul Anthony Cusimano , Jr . of Chalmette High , Antoinette Chiarella of St . Charles Catholic , Kelly Livaccari of Archbishop Chapelle , and Ashley Dourrieu of Chalmette High .
