Elaine believes that the choice of
training provider was central to the
success of the programme. Fantastict
was selected because of its affiliation
with Promethean, and because
of its approach; which combines
much needed face-to-face training
alongside online support to the
tutored assessment.
She added that, as the programme
was rolled out, sessions had
to be tailored to fit the varied
requirements of the teachers
involved, so it was essential to
develop an honest relationship
with the Fantastict team. Rigorous
feedback and follow-up helped
to ensure the programme stayed
on-target, and the Z2 cluster would
certainly recommend this training
approach to other schools.

Promethean’s
ActivTable
Chosen by
Frances Bott -
CPD Co-ordinator
at Fantastict
This multi-user interactive table
allows up to six learners to
simultaneously use individual tools,
web browsers and resources as their
personal efforts move the group
toward accomplishing a common
goal. We have certainly had fun
learning with the ActivTable in our
office.
Not only is the ActivTable a powerful
tool for learning through small-group
collaboration, it is also a vehicle
for building essential skills such
as communication, creativity and
critical thinking. Leaners can develop
communication, collaboration and
group-led decision-making skills
whilst promoting inclusion for all,
including children with special needs.
We currently have an ActivTable
at our Hixon HQ and welcome all
Staffordshire schools to come along
and have a play.
Fantastict also offers workshops on
the ActivTable where participants
learn how to create resources and
customise ready-made activities,
saving valuable teacher time.
Delegates learn how to customise
the interface, understand the touch
control, modify learning objectives
and track learner contributions.
