From leg-busting climbs ridden by the pros to a tranquil roll through the apple orchards of South County, the choices are yours for the riding. It doesn’t take long to get out of town and away from traffic. Maybe you’d rather stay off the roads and on the dirt? Head north out of town along a nice bike path to Wilder Ranch State Park for plenty of trail options, or go south to Nisene Marks State Park in Aptos, where you can go bike through the redwoods past the epicenter of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.
